In greater Massachusetts, the average price is $2.48 and the lowest price is $2.15. Trends show the price as up.
The average price of unleaded gas in the state is $2.656 per gallon. The previous week, the state average was $2.652 per gallon. The average has decreased since last month, when it was $2.721 per gallon – a 6.5 cent difference.
Last year, the average price for a gallon of gas was $2.754.
