George H. & Ella M. Rodgers Memorial Library recently issued the following announcement.

VITA – Voluntary Income Tax Assistance. You must pick up a packet from the library and COMPLETE it before making an appointment to drop off your completed paperwork. The packets will be thoroughly checked before being accepted. Volunteer tax preparers will work through your packet to complete your return. Under this particular model, there is no “sit down” with a tax preparer.
