Goffstown ranked ninth among cities in New Hampshire by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau in August.

The median income of Goffstown residents was an inflation-adjusted $40,079 per year. Goffstown had 1,424 households in 2017, with a population of 3,096.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Amherst. Amherst’s median income was $62,917 per year after adjusting for inflation – $22,838 more than Goffstown. It had 262 households in 2017 and a population of 679.
