36 percent of applicants to the New Hampshire Institute of Art were admitted for fall 2018

At the New Hampshire Institute of Art, 92 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 74 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Manchester enrolled 337 students in fall 2018, including 283 in undergraduate and 54 in graduate programs, data shows. 7.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

47 percent of undergraduates are residents of New Hampshire, and 45 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (46 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (5 percent).

The school admitted 36 percent of the 645 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 29 percent enrolled.
