68 percent of applicants to the University of New Hampshire at Manchester were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of New Hampshire at Manchester, 73 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Manchester enrolled 750 students in fall 2018, including 727 in undergraduate and 23 in graduate programs, data shows. 18.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

96 percent of undergraduates are residents of New Hampshire, and 4 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (70 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (7 percent).

The school admitted 68 percent of the 222 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 64 percent enrolled.
