Cost of college went up for all students at Rivier University

Tuition and fees rose 3.4 percent for 2018-19 at Rivier University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New Hampshire students paid $32,140 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,050 more than the $31,090 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 266 students received grants or scholarships totaling $5.2 million and 250 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.3 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,319), 1,052 students used grants or scholarships totaling $15.2 million, and 1,071 students took out $7.7 million in federal student loans.
