Merrimack Public Library issued the following announcement on Aug. 8.
Join us Friday, August 20 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM for an IRL Fortnite event!
We'll bring Fortnite to life -building fortifications in the library parking lot then battling it out in an epic Nerf battle. We'll provide the building materials, you provide the ideas! Between rounds, we'll cook-out our own dinner (think hot dogs, chips, sodas, s'mores).
Players may bring their own Nerf weapons, but weapons must fire standard Nerf darts and may not be automatic.
For ages 13 - 18. Registration is required; all participants must have an After Hours Permission Slip signed by a guardian.
