James A. Tuttle Library issued the following announcement on Aug. 11.
Great Decisions Program
Steve Ullman, Coordinator (stephenhullman@gmaiil.com).
The Antrim Great Decisions group will begin meeting, in both Zoom and in-person fashion, on Thursday September 9th at the James A. Tuttle Library between 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.. For the subsequent seven weeks, we will continue in both the Zoom and in-person incarnations.
Great Decisions is a series of informal conversations about American foreign policy. Attendees can voice their views or just observe silently. No special expertise in foreign policy is needed, only an interest in our country’s future abroad. Civility and mutual respect are the hallmarks of our sessions
We will be using the 2021 edition of the Great Decisions manual. Participants may order the 2021 manual from the Foreign Policy Association https://www.fpa.org/great_decisions/?act=gd_materials (1-800-477-5836). The manual contains short articles which accompany each meeting’s topic. There is already a 2021 manual on reserve at the Library for those who prefer a free edition.
