Town of Merrimack issued the following announcement on October 27.
HALLOWEEN PARTY POSTPONED
Due to inclement weather predicated for Saturday October 30th into Sunday, October 31st; the 29th Annual Halloween Party and Fireworks Display has been postponed until Saturday, November 6th
GENERAL EVENT SCHEDULE:
2:00 - 5:00 PM - Free Games, Free Crafts, Entertainment and Food Vendors
5:00 - 6:30 pm - Concert in the Park - Whiskey Business Band (Country Rock) - Concert Sponsored by Consolidated Communications
6:30 pm - Fireworks Display
This year, the Town of Merrimack is celebrating its 275th Anniversary and so we are combining our Annual Halloween Party with an extra special birthday party blowout and making this year's event even bigger than before, called the Sparkly Spooktacular!
This FREE event will feature a variety of local businesses & community organizations with free games and activities from 2:00 - 5:00 pm.
From 5:00 - 6:30 pm, we will have a special concert at Wasserman Park; which will then by followed by a spooktacular fireworks display on the Football Practice Field at Wasserman Park at 6:30 pm provided by Atlas Pyro Visions Entertainment.
FOOD AVAILABLE:
Food will be available for sale during the event. This year all food will be provided by Merrimack based Non Profit Organizations and available for purchase. We hope that you will support these organizations.
ENTERTAINMENT STAGE - SPONSORED BY CONSOLIDATED COMMUNICATIONS:
2:00 - 3:00 PM - Watson Park Band
3:00 - 3:30 pm - Merrimack K-9 Demo
3:30 - 5:00 pm - TBA
PARKING
Primary parking will take place on site at Wasserman Park, however we will also have satellite parking available at Thornton's Ferry School (134 Camp Sargent Road) and a shuttle bus will be running on a continuous loop from 2:00 - 7:15 pm. Per Federal Guidelines, masks are required on buses for all individuals over the age of 2. Disposable masks will be available on the bus for anyone that forgets one.
