University of New Hampshire issued the following announcement on November 4.
WHAT: The University of New Hampshire will host an opening celebration for the new Health Sciences Simulation Center funded by the State of New Hampshire to help address the health care workforce shortages in the Granite State. Its learning classrooms and fully equipped simulation labs that mimic hospital, clinic, primary care and other health care settings give students the experience of practicing in a setting with real equipment and technology. The center is part of the university’s commitment to double the number of graduates in its high-demand clinical health programs, like nursing.
WHEN: Monday, Nov. 8, 2021. Event begins at 4 p.m., speaking program at 4:15 p.m. Building tours will follow; masks are required indoors
