Emergency Medical Technicians

13

The first class of emergency medical technicians (EMTs) to complete American Medical Response's (AMR) Earn While You Learn program in Nashua celebrated their graduation earlier this week. This program aims to address the critical shortage of EMS workers in Nashua and across NH by paying trainees to complete EMT training, receive their state certification, and work as an EMT-B for AMR.

Dr. Joe Leahy, Associate Vice President of Emergency Medicine at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, was invited to speak at the ceremony, and congratulated the 14 graduates on this achievement.
